How to start Plone on Windows

Now Plone is installed, but it is not yet running. Luckily, in addition to the great installer, Plone for Windows comes with something called the Plone Controller (note that Linux versions do not have this and use a set of commands to start and stop Plone).

To start the Plone Controller, click on the Windows Start button, then click on All Programs. A screen with your installed programs should come up, and look for the entry named Plone.
