Your First Time Customizing an Object To Your New Skin

Basically you have a skin called a_new_skin, but practically speaking no skin information is coming from it until you either create some object (a CSS file, page template, image, etc) in it. Luckily for us users, the Plone creators made a simple method of reusing every single file from the skin system. In the case of the logo, we are going to go to the original plone logo image, push a button to "customize" it (which puts it into your skin folder), and then change the image that it is putting on the site.

That said, in the ZMI, click into the portal_skin folder of your site. You should see the skin a_first_skin that we created earlier in this lesson. Scan down the listing of skin related folders and you will see portal_images (I circled it in red below). Click it.
