Login to the Plone site frontend

If you look at the right hand part of your Plone website, near the top, you will see a log in hyperlink:

login_zoom.gif

This is how you log into the Plone side of he site. Click log in, and a form will appear, looking like the following:

login_plone_zoom.gif

I have marked in red the fields where you must enter in your administartor id and password, which were both set when you installed Plone.

Before hitting the log in button, take notice that this log in screen defaults with several other hyper-links on it, including a way for people to register for a site userid and password, and a method to retrieve a forgotten password.

Note: Initially, you will be the only user of the site. In fact, in a few steps from now we will go over how to initially secure and restrict all site users except you.
