Final words on the ZMI and logging in

A more advanced distinction about the ZMI screens
There is one thing about the ZMI that you may notice, depending on how you get into it and how your site is configured.
If you get into the ZMI from the Plone website itself, or by typing
in a /manage after the site's URL, you will probably only
see that specific site in the ZMI view.
If you get into the ZMI from the root of your whole website, then you will see not only this one Plone website, but potentially other's you have installed. You can always tell if this is the case by noting if you see the "Control Panel" in the small ZMI window on the left from of the screen. The following is what this looks like:

To get there from a Windows installed Plone, you can type http://localhost:8080/manage or press the Zope Management Interface button on the Plone Controller.
Final Words on Logging In

the rest of the steps in this lesson. We are now ready to begin the
next critical part of the process, controlling who can join and log
into the site while we are designing it...
